Would you like to work in the health field but don't want direct
patient contact? If, so a Medical Coding career
might be right for you. Without the medical office
administration team, the health care system would grind to a halt.
The Medical Coding Program is an Academic Associate
Degree program . The program's focus is the health care
administration. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates
will be prepared to work in clinics, insurance companies,
physicians' offices, hospitals, and other health care affiliates.
In addition to the various coding systems that are in place, 2010 is
the target year for a new coding system (ICD10).
